The holidays are a time when family, friends and coworkers get together to have fun and enjoy fellowship. So, if you're finished with shopping and looking for a fun group activity this holiday season, stop by your local bowling center!
For the first time ever, the sport of bowling took part in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® as inflated pins, a ball and bowling shoes made their way down the streets of New York City in front millions of fans in person and an estimated television audience of more than 50 million.
A spectacle like no other awaits millions as the 92nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving
Day Parade® kicks off the holiday season on Nov. 22 at 9 a.m. Marching through
the streets of New York City and airing live on NBC, the parade will kick off the
holiday season for family and friends gathered nationwide, and for the first time,
bowling will be on full display during the festivities.
With the NFL relaxing its rules, more and more players are becoming creative in how they celebrate big plays. Players simulating bowling a ball and knocking down their teammates as pins has become a favorite celebration.
Bowling was front and center throughout an exciting week of events at newly
renovated Richmond Raceway. For seven full days, Go Bowling and the PWBA Tour
provided incredible bowling experiences to racing (and bowling) fans in attendance.
