Bowling Handicap Calculator

Calculate Bowler & Team Handicaps

Enter your league base, percentage, and bowler averages to calculate handicaps instantly. Pick the number of bowlers on your team so unused spots never add extra handicap.

How It Works

Standard formula:
Handicap = (Base − Average) × Percentage

Example:
Base 220, percentage 90%, average 167
(220 − 167) × .90 = 47 handicap pins per game

Team calculation:
By default, the calculator adds each active bowler’s handicap together. The team-size selector controls how many bowlers can be entered.

League rules vary:
Some leagues round differently, cap handicap, or use a team-total method. Confirm your exact rules with your league secretary.

This calculator is intended as a helpful estimate. Official league scoring rules, rounding methods, and handicap caps may vary.
