ARLINGTON, Texas — October 1, 2024 - Bowling is back in the 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® in New York City, and Go Bowling has a new float premiering at this year’s Parade.

Go Bowling is the one-stop site where people of all ages can find bowling fun. The consumer-facing brand of the International Bowling Campus (IBC) — where the Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA), United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and Strike Ten Entertainment (STE) are headquartered — has been an official partner of the iconic holiday celebration since 2018.

This year, Go Bowling will unveil Strikes Again, a brand new, state-of-the-art float that showcases the sport's enthusiasm and energy. The centerpiece of this impressive float is a larger-than-life, animatronic bowler demonstrating her skills on the lane, with bowling elements and vibrant visuals surrounding her.

“Thanks to Macy's design expertise, the float brings together the fun of bowling and the spirit of the holiday season in a unique way,” said John Harbuck, President of STE. “Those watching the Parade will be amazed by the float as it makes its way through the streets of New York City and reminds people during the holiday season that bowling is a fun, family-friendly activity to enjoy wherever they live.”

As Go Bowling continues to promote the sport and engage fans, this new float is set to become a wonderful addition to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade line up, inspiring future generations of bowlers and adding to this beloved annual event.

"We’re absolutely thrilled to team up with Go Bowling again as we roll out an all-new exciting, action-packed float to this year's Parade,” said Jordan Dabby,  producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.” Millions of live spectators and viewers across the country are in for a spectacular treat as this high-energy float strikes its way through the heart of Manhattan this Thanksgiving!"

“Beyond the visibility in New York and nationally on the broadcast, the partnership also offers bowling a platform to activate at the grassroots level by driving traffic into our member centers and engaging our fans and customers on social media.  We are excited to support the parade partnership with a comprehensive digital marketing asset package for activation at more than 3,400-member bowling centers,” added Harbuck.

Every GoBowling.com center can receive the official 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade poster for free to display and digital assets to promote the Parade and a Macy’s Shopping Spree Sweepstakes that awards one lucky bowler with a $1,000 holiday shopping spree at Macy’s.
