Go Bowling Rolls into the Rose Parade® to have the Perfect Day
Go Bowling will join the 136th Rose Parade® presented by Honda on Jan. 1, 2025, in Pasadena, California. This year’s parade theme is “Best Day Ever!” and Go Bowling’s float will celebrate every bowler’s dream best day, achieving a “Perfect Game.”
ARLINGTON, Texas - The Tournament of Roses Association oversees the Rose Bowl Game® presented by Prudential and the Rose Parade, which is an iconic New Year's Day celebration. The Rose Parade features flower-covered floats, marching bands from around the country, and much more, attracting thousands of spectators in person and via national broadcasts to watch the five-and-a-half-mile route down Colorado Boulevard. This year’s theme celebrates those days that rise above the rest – those unparalleled experiences that bring a smile, warm our hearts and fill us with joy.
The Go Bowling float “Perfect Game” will have a retro-bowling alley theme decorated with fresh, vibrant flowers. In homage to the classic bowling alley façade, a giant neon sign will illuminate the words “BOWL” for everyone to see. Rotating bowling pins and balls also will be featured, posing for a strike to bring that electric feeling when celebrating a perfect game.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to capture the essence of a ‘Best Day Ever’ than the excitement of a perfect 300 game,” said John Harbuck, President of Strike Ten Entertainment and Go Bowling. “We hope this float inspires everyone watching to hit the lanes and create their unforgettable moments.”
To start the new year right, Go Bowling is hosting a sweepstakes to give a lucky winner free bowling for a year. Fans can enter by visiting GoBowling.com beginning Dec. 1, 2024, through Jan. 3, 2025.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Go Bowling to the Rose Parade for the first time. Their float perfectly captures the spirit of our ‘Best Day Ever!’ theme, celebrating the joy and excitement of achieving a personal best bowling score, or spending time together with family and friends at a local bowling center,” said David Eads, Pasadena Tournament of Roses CEO. “We can’t wait for fans across the country and worldwide to experience the vibrant energy of their design, and we’re grateful for their partnership in making this year’s Parade unforgettable.”
The 136th Rose Parade will broadcast nationwide on ABC, Great American Family, NBC, RFD-TV and Univision. The Parade will also stream on fubo, local now, Pluto TV, Sport TV and the Grio on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10: a.m. Pacific time zones.
