Richmond Raceway will once again be the stage for two of the biggest Go Bowling events of the year – The PWBA Tour Championship and the Go Bowling 250 – all in the same week!

Kicking off this action-packed week will be the PWBA Tour Championship, an all-out battle for the coveted Tour Championship Trophy. The top 16 players in the Professional Women’s Bowling Association will battle in the pinnacle event of their season. The PWBA Tour Championship, the final major championship of the 2019 PWBA Tour season, returns to the historic Old Dominion Building for the third consecutive season on Sept. 16-18.

“For the third consecutive year, Richmond Raceway will be the home for the PWBA Tour Championship during the week of our NASCAR Playoff Race Weekend,” said Richmond President Dennis Bickmeier. “We look forward to welcoming the 16 PWBA athletes vying for the PWBA Tour Championship in the Capital City. The world-class PWBA Tour Championship has become a great addition to the fan experience for our NASCAR Playoff Race Weekend.”

PWBA Lanes

The player field for the PWBA Tour Championship is comprised of PWBA members who won a 2019 event and is completed by point earners for the season.

QubicaAMF will build four state-of-the-art lanes for the event and CBS Sports Network will have live coverage of the PWBA Tour Championship’s final rounds on Sept. 18. Go Bowling will open the championship-caliber lanes to the public on Friday so race fans can come by and bowl a few frames for free. In addition to building the lanes for the PWBA Tour Championship, QubicaAMF returns as a sponsor of the season’s third major event.

“The PWBA provides such a tremendous opportunity for competitive women bowlers and QubicaAMF is proud to continue its involvement with the PWBA,” QubicaAMF Chairman Pat Ciniello said. “The PWBA Players Championship was a fantastic event last season and we’re excited to continue our sponsorship of the event. It also was thrilling to be part of the PWBA Tour Championship and build the lanes in a fantastic venue that showcased the outstanding athletes who compete on the tour.”

Catch the finals live on CBS Sports Network on Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. ET.

Two days after the PWBA Tour Championship, the bowling industry also will be represented on the track as Go Bowling is the entitlement sponsor of the Go Bowling 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff race.

On the track, Go Bowling has sponsored Stewart-Haas driver Cole Custer in the No. 00 Ford Mustang, giving bowling fans a driver to cheer on during the race. Cole currently stands at third in the point standings, having amassed 874 points over the season with 5 wins and 11 Top 5 finishes.

Catch the Go Bowling 250 on NBC Sports Network Friday, September 20th at 7:30p.m. ET. We’ll see you on the lanes and in the stands at Richmond Raceway in a few weeks!
