Ricky Stenhouse JR. Strikes at Pure Michigan 400
Two of the country’s most popular pastimes – bowling and NASCAR – collided again this past weekend at the Michigan International Speedway!
Ricky Stenhouse Jr., driver of the No. 17 Go Bowling Ford Fusion, had another impressive outing in the Monster Energy Series Pure Michigan 400 on Sunday with another top 20 finish! Ricky’s performance this weekend adds on to the great year he’s had including wins at both Talladega and Daytona in 2017. Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 42 car, took the checkered flag.
The No. 17 Go Bowling car again featured the bowling lane theme design complete with a bowling ball, pins and the Go Bowling logo. The car was also decorated with the name of a fan that won Go Bowling’s “Score Your Name on the No. 17 Go Bowling Ford Fusion” contest. Congratulations to Justin Epley, who won the contest and is a huge Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. fan!
Much like at the Go Bowling 400 at Kansas Speedway, Ricky’s performance at the Pure Michigan 400 in the bowling themed car provided a national spotlight on bowling – the number one participatory sport in the nation with more than 67 million people taking to the lanes each year. The event capped off a huge National Bowling Day weekend that reached millions of fans and built great awareness for bowling!
Congratulations, Ricky and thanks for the tremendous exposure for bowling at the Pure Michigan 400!
